This approx. 22x28" Movie Item:
THE SICILIAN CLAN ~ U.S. Half-Sheet Poster NSS# 70/109 -~ 20th CENTURY-FOX ~ 1970
This classic 70s GANGSTER poster is in Excellent / Near-Mint condition. There is a single tack hole in the right and left (white) edge border ; six approx. 1/4" angled tears in the bottom left white edge; an approx. 1" angled tear at the top center white edge with no paper loss on tears ; an approx. 1 1/2" oorizontal line/ stain in the lower left (white) edge; minor edge and surface wear. It has always been ROLLED or stored flat - NEVER FOLDED. With bright colors and sharp images, it's printed on heavy, glossy poster stock.
The poster spotlights an arresting, noirish b/w image showing star JEAN GABIN spying in the background as a pistol is jammed into the face of a cast member. A great, stylized 'family portrait' of the CLAN includes images of GABIN with co-stars ALAIN DELON , LINO VENTURA , IRINA DEMICK and SYDNEY CHAPLIN.
