RICHARD RODNEY BENNETT has composed many great Hollywood Film scores, including The Devil Never Sleeps (aka Satan Never Sleeps / The Witches ) , The Man Who Could Cheat Death , The Devil's Disciples , Billy Liar , Billion Dollar Brain , Nicholas and Alexandra , Murder on the Orient Express , Tender is the Night , Far From The Madding Crowd , Enchanted April and Four Weddings and a Funeral. He was also a composer for TV's DOCTOR WHO , in the black-and-white days of the BBC Series.
THE FILM:
LADY CAROLINE LAMB (1973) tells the story of the infamous 19th Century English wife of William Lamb, who became the mistress of Lord Byron. The film stars SARAH MILES , JON FINCH , RICHARD CHAMBERLAIN , JOHN MILLS , MARGARET LEIGHTON , PAMELA BROWN , RALPH RICHARDSON and LAURENCE OLIVIER . Directed by ROBERT BOLT .
