Jacqueline Susann's THE LOVE MACHINE ~ U.S. RELEASE POSTER NSS# 71/218 ~ COLUMBIA PICTURES ~ 1971
This classic 70's poster from steamy sex author JACQUELINE SUSANN's follow-up to VALLEY OF THE DOLLS , is in excellent condition. It is printed on heavy cardboard and has always been rolled - never folded. There are approx. 1" horizontal tears in the right an left center (white) edges. Minor corner, edge and surface wear, light yellowing and some light cobweb creases.
The poster & logo art (like the novel's original cover) heavily features a popular 70's symbol: the Egyptian "ankh" which symbolized (if I remember correctly) eternal life and eternal love. Below, is the image of SUSANN's best-selling novel.
The film's all-star cast includes JOHN PHILLIP LAW , DYAN CANNON , ROBERT RYAN , JACKIE COOPER , DAVID HEMMINGS , WILLIAM ROERICK , MAUREEN ARTHUR , SHECKY GREENE , CLINTON GREYN , SHARON FARRELL and JODI WEXLER . Directed by JACK HALEY, Jr.
