This approx. 22x28" Movie Item:
THE CAT ~ U.S. Half-Sheet Poster NSS# 66/95 -~ EMBASSY PICTURES ~ 1966
This rare poster from a little-know 60s Action / Adventure is in Very Good condition. There is wear at the corners and edges; a small clip of the bottom left corner ; small masking-tape strips in the right and left bottom (white) border ; an approx. 2" circular tear in the lower right white border (no missing paper) ; an approx 1" horizontal tear in the left center white border ; an approx. 1/2" horizontal tear in the right center (white) border ; a small scuff above the film's title. The poster's printed on flat poster stock and has always been ROLLED - never folded.
This exciting poster shows a variety of scenes from the film: child-actor DWAYNE REDLIN (who's a dead ringer for actor BILLY MUMY) camps in the woods. Other stars are seen looking worried, firing a rifle and using a hunting dog to track THE CAT. The film's title CAT figures most prominantly, snarling and appearing almost entangled in the film's striking title-logo.
The film also stars ROGER PERRY , PEGGY ANN GARNER and BARRY COE. Directed by ELLIS KADISON Presented by JOSEPH E. LEVINE
