This original poster from the acclaimed, VERTIGO-influenced BRIAN DE PALMA thriller is in Very Good Condition. Original machine folds, with light wear at the fold lines; multiple staple holes at all four corners and top and bottom center (white) border area, some with minor pinpoint paper loss ; an approx. 1" square chip at the bottom right (white) border edge ; some minor tears in the border with no paper loss and an approx 1/8" rust or tape discoloration at the bottom center (white) border. It has been STORED ROLLED since the 70s, which has reduced visibility of the fold lines and it will be shipped rolled. With bright, vibrant colors ; it's printed on glossy poster stock.
An arresting canary-yellow backgrounds the striking Rorschach inkblot design which bleeds an image of the film's star CLIFF ROBERTSON into stylized shadows of ROBERTSON and co-star GENEVIEVE BUJOLD in a tenative embrace with a dangling revolver held by one of them. Includes great period critic quotes from notable scribes LIZ SMITH , REX REED, GENE SHALIT , RICHARD SCHICKEL and others, with the distinctive title-logo in deep red.
