This approx. 22x28" Movie Item:
CAPONE ~ U.S. Half-Sheet Poster NSS# 75/80 -~ 20th CENTURY-FOX ~ 1975
This classic gangster-themed poster is in excellent / fine condition. There are two diagonal creases at the extreme upper right corner (white area) and a similar small crease at the extreme bottom left corner. There is a very light and small (approx. 1/8") stain in the right (white) border. It has always been ROLLED - never folded
This dynamic poster is dominated by the image of star BEN GAZZARA as gangster AL CAPONE holding a machine gun in one hand and his moll, SUSAN BLAKELY in the other, in front of a shelf stocked with liquor bottles. Also included are images of gangsters with machine guns and a period auto exploding on a city street. The film's bullet-riddled logo tops the poster.
The film also stars HARRY GUARDINO and JOHN CASSAVETES . Produced by legendary ROGER CORMAN and Directed by STEVE CARVER .
The poster includes the following text:
