CATLOW ~ U.S. Half-Sheet Poster NSS# 71/302 -~ Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer ~ 1971
This poster from the lighthearted YUL BRYNNER Western based on a novel by LOUIS L'AMOUR, is in Excellent / Fine Condition, with minor edge wear, some light discoloration at the extreme corners and a very thin band of tanning along the extreme right (white) edge. NEVER FOLDED - Stored flat and out-of-sunlight since the 70s, the colors are vivid and unfaded. Printed on glossy, heavy poster stock.
This dynamic, vivid yellow and black poster shows two shadowy cowboys (one with a sheriff's badge) chained at the wrist and wildly firing six-shooters across the poster. One gunshot strikes a cowboy who seems to fall right from the top of the poster into the imposing, stylized title logo.
Also in the cast: RICHARD CRENNA , LEONARD NIMOY , DALIAH LAVI and JO ANN PFLUG. Directed by SAM WANAMAKER
The poster includes the following text:
