This RARE-SIZE poster from this popular sequel to The Trouble With Angels is in Good condition. It has always been ROLLED or stored flat - NEVER FOLDED. White edge border: there are tack holes in all four corners ; some light scuffs, small discolorations, small chips and general wear. Inside the border: there are several light creases, including light, angled vertical creases and small dents visible at extreme angles ; an irregular vertical crease in one of the insert photos and other signs of handling. It is printed on heavy glossy poster stock.
This poster from the late-60s sequel to the mid-60s family hit reflects the change in the social climate in those few years, pitting 'Traditional' Nun Vs. "New-Age Nun." There are nice photos of the movie's two stars, accompanied by character quotes that emphasize the era's 'Generation Gap' mindset: Movie Icon ROSALIND RUSSELL ( " 'A New Wind Blowing Is Fine -- But Typhoons?' - Mother Superior") and Rebel-Nun STELLA STEVENS ( " 'We've Got To Be Where The Action Is!' - Sister George).
Four tinted insert photos offer additional images of RUSSELL and STEVENS with co-star SUSAN ST. JAMES in class and at a PROTEST RALLEY, and the other 'Angels' cavorting on campus and goofing around in their PAJAMAS. Includes a great, stylized halo / pitchfork title logo, too!
The film also stars BINNIE BARNES , DOLORES SUTTON , MARY WICKES and "The 'IN' Group:" MILTON BERLE , ARTHUR GODFREY , VAN JOHNSON and ROBERT TAYLOR . Directed by JAMES NEILSON
