This RARE-SIZE / RARE TITLE Original Poster from Producer ROBERT WISE's controversial 60's drama of homosexuality in the military is in Excellent condition, with some corner, edge and surface wear, some small, slight creases and light tanning at the edges and some heavier, angled creasing at the bottom right (white) edge. There are two approx. 3" long / 1" wide angled yellow marks, resembling tape marks at the bottom left edge. Rich colors and sharp images. This large poster is printed on glossy, extra-heavy poster stock. It has always been ROLLED - never folded.
The poster features a large, imposing blue-tinted close-up of star ROD STEIGER as the closeted-homosexual SERGEANT, with a stylized (printed) tear at the photo's corner. A sketch of co-stars JOHN PHILLIP LAW (as the object of the SERGEANT's affection) and LUDMILLA MIKAEL (as LAW's girlfriend) intrude into STEIGER's photo.
