This great RARE SIZE poster from director CARL REINER's bittersweet cult-favorite tribute to STAN LAUREL , MACK SENNETT and SILENT FILM COMEDIES, is in Very Good condition, with overall light edge and surface wear ; moderate to heavy wrinkling and wear along the top (white) edge border, very slightly into the top right photo edge ; an approx. 1/2" vertical tear in the top (white) edge, arrested on the back with a small piece of archival tape ; several small, visible surface creases. No tack or staple holes. It has always been ROLLED or stored flat - NEVER FOLDED. With bright colors and sharp images, it's printed on heavy glossy poster stock.
The poster pictures popular star DICK VAN DYKE , looking a lot like STAN LAUREL , and three nice tinted scene photos showing VAN DYKE in Southern ballgown drag, getting hassled by a policeman and prancing alongside a Roadster with co-stars MICKEY ROONEY and MICHELE LEE .
