This exciting LARGE RARE-SIZE / RARELY-OFFERED poster - featuring artwork by ADMIRED POSTER ARTIST REYNOLD BROWN - from what has been called "the ultimate Japanese monster movie" is in in Very Good condition! Always ROLLED / never folded. With overall minor edge and surface wear and signs of handling. There's an approx. 1" horizontal tear at thop right edge and an approx. 3" vertical tear at the bottom right edge, partly in the "Manda" credit, both with no paper loss - arrested on the back off the poster with small pieces of archival tape ; some water staining at the edge at various points along the right (white) edge, outside of artwork, and: approx. 10" long at the bottom left edge warying from 1/2" to 3" in width, to the bottom of the "M" in "Mothra" at widest point ; some light surface creasing ; a light, visible horizontal crease across the entire width at the center which isn't a sharp folding crease. With vivid, unfaded colors and sharp images. Like most posters of this size, it is printed on extra-heavy glossy poster stock.
This dynamic REYNOLD BROWN poster features an incredible image of many of the film's various creatures converged in a single city location: crushing and collapsing buildings, trains and boats within a curtain of fire as screaming citizens scatter beneath them and a space ship and flying saucer hover about overhead!
This extremely popular cult-classic horror movie from Japan lists its stars as MOTHRA , GODZILLA , RODAN and MANDA (the snake from ATRAGON) . Also featured in the film (and some, on the poster) are ANGURUS (from GODZILLA VS. THE FIRE MONSTER) , BARAGON (from FRANKENSTEIN CONQUERS THE WORLD) and SPIGAS (the Spider, from SON OF GODZILLA).
