This approx. 22x28" Movie Item:
THE HOSPITAL / U.S. Half-Sheet Poster "Style B" NSS# 71/385 ~ UNITED ARTISTS 1971
This great poster is in excellent condition, with some light edge and surface wear; an approx. 7" faint stain at bottom center white edge; four dime-size or smaller light tan discolorations in bottom left edge and in white sheet area. Stored flat and out-of-sunlight since the '70s, the colors are rich - not faded - and the images sharp. Printed on glossy, heavy poster stock
The poster reads "WATCH THEM OPERATE!" It features cartoon characatures on the left, showing the cast over a dead patient with captions reading: "Sheila, This is Dr. Schaefer --I got us a bed for tonight!" , "You're not leaving until I have your Blue Cross number!" and "I may be crazy, but I think I operated on the wrong patient" On the right are nice b/w photos of stars GEORGE C. SCOTT and DIANA RIGG .
This acclaimed, hit comedy was written by PADDY CHAYEFSKY and Directed by ARTHUR HILLER
