This great LIMITED-QUANTITY / RARELY-OFFERED Original CARTOON DOUBLE-FEATURE Movie Poster is in Very Good / Excellent condition. Posters for this independently-released, 'Matinee Only' film were produced in MUCH LOWER QUANTITIES than a regular big-studio movie release and good-condition posters can be very hard to find! This 1970 theatrical release of the much-loved (and annually repeated) TV HOLIDAY SPECIAL MR. MAGOO'S CHRISTMAS CAROL, coupled with a second MAGOO TV special: MR. MAGOO'S LITTLE SNOW WHITE appeared only this once on the big screen!
Originally machine tri-folded, it has been stored rolled since the 70s, greatly minimizing the fold lines, and will be shipped ROLLED. There are several remnants of clear transparent tape along the extreme edges ; an approx. 19" angled crease upward from the upper left edge to the top right edge, partly into the green border ; an approx. 2" angled tear at the left edge, arrested on the back of the poster with a small piece of archival tape ; some light surface creases ; light wear at the fold lines ; an approx. 1" x 1/2" discoloration in the bottom white edge ; light edge and surface wear. Stored out of sunlight, the colors are bright and unfaded. Printed on glossy poster stock.
Featuring a great image of nearsighted cartoon-favorite character MR. MAGOO dressed as SANTA CLAUS against a green background and star-covered Christmas Tree outline. Tree ornaments show the titles of the two MAGOO features and great images from both features (including many additional images of MAGOO) cluster around the lower half of the poster. With a great, bright, holiday-red title logo and minimized credits.
The film features the voice of JIM BACKUS as Mr. Magoo
