DEADFALL ~ U.S. Half-Sheet Poster NSS# 68/49 -~ 20th CENTURY-FOX ~ 1968
This exciting poster from the BRYAN FORBES 'Caper' / Thriller is in very good / excellent condition. It has always been ROLLED or stored flat - NEVER FOLDED. With light edge & surface wear ; tack holes in the four corners and the top center ; approx. 5" wrinkling at the extreme edges at the bottom right ; a few light, small and sparse surface creases & some light fingerprinting ; an approx. 8" x 1/2" studio-applied sticker at the bottom border adds movie soundtrack album information ; the back of the poster was apparently used as a substitute half-sheet for another film, comically boasting some pencil-drawn amateur artwork and captions for 'Monster From The Ocean Floor' - some impressions of which are visible on the front when viewed at extreme angles. With bright colors and sharp images. It's printed on heavy, glossy poster stock.
This poster shows a great close-up of movie icon MICHAEL CAINE in mid-robbery. Four duplicated images of CAINE falling topple down a smeared title logo. Four additional insert photos picture co-stars, probably including GIOVANNA RALLI , ERIC PORTMAN and NANETTE NEWMAN, with captions:
"When the suspicions became too powerful...
When the warning came too late...
When the game became too dangerous...
When the strange affair lasted too long! "
The film also stars DAVID BUCK and CARLOS PIERRE . Directed by BRYAN FORBES
