This terrific LIMITED AVAILABILITY / RARELY OFFERED poster (with no theatrical posters printed, as the film was made for Television) is from the BETTE MIDLER version of the classic STEPHEN SONDHEIM / JULE STYNE Musical based on the life of classy stripper / actress / author GYPSY ROSE LEE. The poster is in Excellent condition, with very minor edge and surface wear. It has always been ROLLED - never folded. With rich, unfaded colors. Printed on glossy poster stock.
The suitably dramatic poster shows music / movie superstar BETTE MIDLER gesturing triumphantly at the conclusion of the powerful "Rose's Turn" musical number, with spotlights shining behind her. With a nice, marquee-light stylized MIDLER credit and title logo and rose-colored border edging.
