This delightful , cult-favorite FAMILY FILM that combines STOP-MOTION ANIMATED PUPPETRY with the classical music of HUMPERDINCK is in Very Good / Excellent condition. With minor edge and surface wear. The NSS number which identifies this as an original '65 poster has been updated with a pen to the new number, indicating that this poster (from a small, independant distributer that printed these in EXTREMELY LIMITED QUANTITIES!) was re-used for a subsequent re-release. It's printed on flat poster stock and has always been ROLLED - never folded.
This charming poster features a large image of the film's PUPPET STARS, HANSEL AND GRETEL, with nice additional images of the supporting cast: the WITCH flies on her broom to her CANDY COTTAGE that's surrounded by GINGERBREAD CHILDREN as a BEAR , GOOSE and CAT watch from a snowy path. Additional text reads: "Winner PARENTS MAGAZINE Medal Movie of the Month!", with an image of the award nearby.
The one-of-a-kind film features the voices of ANNA RUSSELL , MILDRED DUNNOCK , FRANK ROGIER , DELBERT ANDERSON , HELEN BOATWRIGHT , The APOLLO BOYS' CHOIR and CONSTANCE BRIGHAM . "...with the world-famous music of HUMPERDINCK" "A Full-Length Musical Fantasy in FAIRYLAND COLOR by TECHNICOLOR"
