This gorgeous poster from the acclaimed, modern-day-classic CIVIL WAR drama is in Excellent condition. There's some wear along the right, extreme, edge and some very minor surface wear. It has always been ROLLED - never folded and is printed on glossy poster stock.
This sought-after Limited-Issue ADVANCE POSTER has beautiful colors. It features a dramatic image of CIVIL WAR SOLDIERS, seen through wispy gun smoke, with their muskets raised, surging into battle with the AMERICAN FLAG held high in the rear. There's a great RED, WHITE and BLUE overwash of color and the film's stylized logo is in the center, with NO ADDITIONAL CREDITS LISTED (giving the image a great uncluttered look).
The admired, popular drama honors the largely-unacknowledged valiant black soldiers who gave their lives for the UNION ARMY . It stars MATTHEW BRODERICK , DENZEL WASHINGTON (ACADEMY AWARD WINNER for this film) , CARY ELWES and MORGAN FREEMAN . Directed by EDWARD ZWICK
