This Original Poster is in Very Good / Excellent condition, with the following notations: There is an approx. 5" creased and angled tear with a 2" offshoot tear at the upper left edge in the white area with no paper loss ; there is an approx. 1" vertical tear at the lower left (white) edge with no paper loss ; there are multiple staple hole / tears at all four corners ; minor / light corner, edge and surface wear. Like most posters of this size, it is printed on extra-heavy glossy poster stock. Stored out-of-sunlight since the 70s, the colors are vibrant and unfaded. It has always been ROLLED - never folded.
The poster features some vibrantly-colored and delightfully fanciful DISNEY artwork, showing the film's star WALTER BRENNAN in his dual roles as a TIMBER TYCOON and TINY GNOME in a spirited exchange. Co-Stars (billed as "Those MARY POPPINS Kids") MATTHEW GARBER and KAREN DOTRICE look on in amusement at various GNOMES: some cluster around a tree stump, one sits on a mushroom, one resides in the stump's hollow under a sign reading "Home Sweet Home" while others struggle to lift BRENNAN's GNOME. Additional artwork pictures BRENNAN and the kids racing in the GNOME-COVERED title MOBILE, with a car chasing behind. Includes the great, stylized title logo.
