This RARE SIZE / RARELY OFFERED poster from AIP's '71 horror shocker is in Excellent condition, with minor edge and surface wear. With an approx 1 1/2" water spot at the bottom right (white) edge and some thin vertical tanning along the top (white) edge. It has always been ROLLED or stored flat - NEVER FOLDED. With bright, unfaded colors and sharp images. It's printed on heavy, glossy poster stock.
There's lots of shocking action in this great exploitation poster: a hooded maniac swings a blood-spattered hammer towards a helpless female's head while, in the background, firemen tend to a blazing building, policemen struggle with a criminal and a man with a club attacks another man who's assaulting a high-boot / miniskirted young woman. With a great, stylized title logo and exploitation text interrupted by the bloody hammer.
The movie stars GLORIA GRAHAME , MILTON SELZER , LEN LESSER , VIC TAYBACK and MELODY PATTERSON as Elle . Directed by PHILIP GILBERT
