This classic poster is in fair / good condition. It has always been ROLLED or stored flat - NEVER FOLDED. With some edge and corner wear; wrinkling and some staining at the bottom right extreme edge, bottom right corner, top center edge and top left edge ; a light, thin angled stain or discoloration along the left edge area, slightly into the bottom left photo ; an angled, approx. 14" crease from the top edge into and across the center photo ; an approx. 12" vertical crease from the bottom left edge into the center photo; several other smaller creases. It has bright colors and sharp images and is printed on heavy glossy poster stock.
This poster features the film's well-known, dynamic image of star RICHARD HARRIS hoisted into the air by hooks as NATIVE AMERICANS poke at his with spears and look on. Six sepia-tinted photos that picture HARRIS in a lion cloth, being manhandled by his captors and romancing co-star CORINNA TSOPEI carry descriptive captions:
" The White Man captured and dragged naked into the savage world of the Sioux Indians."
" The hostile Indians force the first White Man they have ever seen to become a horse or die."
" The torture of the White Man as he fights to become an Indian Warrior."
