This sexy AIP exploitation poster is in Excellent / Fine condition. It has always been ROLLED or stored flat - NEVER FOLDED. With minor corner and edge wear and a small light discoloration at the center of the right (white) border edge. Stored out-of-sunlight, the colors are vivid and unfaded and the images are sharp. Printed on heavy glossy poster stock.
This compelling poster, designed by collectible poster artist BILL GOLD, from AIP's controversial bisexual updating of OSCAR WILDE's story features a steamy high-grain portrait of shirtless star HELMUT BERGER ("The Sensational Young Star of 'The Damned!' ") in an elaborate ascot and jeans. An adoring, tastefully topless woman clings to him from behind. A heavy chain, suggestively dangles from BERGER's hand into the stylized title logo below. The shocking-pink background teases with a hard-to-decipher images of a writhing couple.
The film also stars RICHARD TODD, HERBERT LOM, MARIE LILJEDAHL and MARGARET LEE . Directed by MASSIMO DALLAMANO
