This exciting original BORIS VALLEJO artwork poster for the re-relase of the CULT-FAVORITE SCI-FI classic is in Very Good condition. It's folded, with wear at the fold lines and some pinpoint tear at the crosspoints; the bottom horizontal fold was irregularly re-folded, adding additional fold lines in that area ; there are staple holes and staple tears in all four corners ; an approx. 1" wide v-shaped chip at the top and bottom center edges at the fold line ; 2 approx. 1" vertical tears at the right bottom fold with no paper loss and creasing at that area; additional minor edge wear. It's printed on glossy light poster stock with vibrant, unfaded colors.
The stunning re-release poster art has a breathtaking image of sexy JANE FONDA wearing a space-age chain-mail bikini and boots, brandishing a ray-gun. A variety of spacecraft fly overhead in the red sky, past foreign planets. A wildly-curved palace, leather-clad soldiers with whips and co-star JOHN PHILLIP LAW, in a loincloth, also figure in the landscape. A wonderfully fantastic piece of SCI-FI FANTASY ARTWORK!
Illustrator and fantasy artist BORIS VALLEJO also created the exciting poster art for Deathstalker, Q , Knightriders, The White Buffalo , National Lampoon's European Vacation and others.
The fantastic French-Italian comic-based film also stars MILO O'SHEA , DAVID HEMMINGS , ANITA PALLENBERG , MARCEL MARCEAU , UGO TOGNAZZI and CLAUDE DAUPHIN. Directed by FONDA's husband, ROGER VADIM
