This striking poster featuring a great RETRO-LOOK 'PULP ART' image is in Very Good condition. There's some corner and edge wear; an approx 4' vertical angled tear at the top right edge, partly into text, with no paper loss and some horizontal creasing at the same area; some angled creasing at the top left corner, partly into black area; light sparse spotting at the right center (white) border. The main artowork area is in Excellent+ condition. Stored flat and out-of-sunlight since the 70s, the colors are rich and unfaded. Printed on heavy, glossy poster stock, the poster has NEVER BEEN FOLDED.
This exciting, noirish poster - featuring shadowy artwork similar to PULP FICTION COVER ART - shows cops and detectives, with flashlights and guns drawn, discovering a beautiful woman's nude body. She's slumped from a bed halfway onto the (seedy hotel room's?) floor and is partially covered with a bloody sheet. The film's blood-red rubber-stamped stylized title-logo appears prominantly.
The film stars MICHAEL MORIARTY , YAPHET KOTTO , SUSAN BLAKELY , HECTOR ELIZONDO and TONY KING . Directed by MILTON KATSELAS
